By registering with BC Singles Net, you are accepting the terms of this agreement as binding as long as you continue to be a BC Singles Net member. THIS SERVICE IS FOR ADULTS ONLY (YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 19 YEARS OF AGE)! BC Singles Net is a service for adults to meet each other online. As part of this service, you agree to the terms of the Agreement below. Please read the Agreement carefully. As an adult, you are the publisher of your content and are solely responsible for the information that you post and for your interaction with other users of this service. Either you or BC Singles Net may terminate your membership and associated services for any reason. By registering and participating in BC Singles Net, you verify that you are at least 19 years old. You agree to abide by the following rules: You will treat any electronic correspondence and other information found on BC Singles Net as private and will not forward that information without permission of the originator of the information. You will not harass others or use any vulgar, racist, or otherwise offensive language, either in public posted material or in private communications with other BC Singles Net members. You will not include in Your Personal Profile any anatomical or sexual references or sexually suggestive and connotative language. You will not post any telephone numbers, street addresses, last names, URL's and/or E-mail addresses in Your Personal Profile. BC Singles Net reserves the right to edit photo submissions. Nudity and personal information in photos are unacceptable. You will not post advertisements or forward chain letters. You will not use any service provided by BC Singles Net to libel, defame, or slander any person, and you will not use any service provided by BC Singles Net to infringe the privacy rights of any person. You will not post any information that infringes the property rights of any person, including but not limited to the intellectual property rights of any person. If you choose to become a paying BC Singles Net member, you will be responsible for all charges incurred in accordance with stated prices and billing policies. You assume full responsibility for all charges from other providers incurred in accessing the BC Singles Net service (such as online access providers, telephone service providers, or others). BC Singles Net is not responsible for the use of any personal information that you may choose to disclose on this service. Please carefully select the type of information that you post on BC Singles Net or release to others. BC Singles Net does not: Verify any information posted to the service or guarantee the proper use of such information by any party. Review or assume any responsibility for the content of private communications sent between Members using our anonymous remailer. We do not ensure that these messages may not contain material that could be offensive to some. Monitor or resolve disputes between service subscribers. Ensure that offensive material will be promptly removed from the service. Ensure secure transmissions over the Internet. BC Singles Net reserves the right to prohibit offensive language from the public areas of the service. BC Singles Net reserves the right but shall have no obligation to remove materials from the service that are not in compliance with this Service Agreement or the rules of BC Singles Net BC Singles Net reserves the right to terminate service without notice to any user who fails to comply with this Service Agreement or the rules of BC Singles Net. The BC Singles Net service contains proprietary information of BC Singles Net and its licensers. In addition, other persons may post copyrighted information, which has copyright protection whether or not it is identified as copyrighted. Except for that information which is in the public domain or for which you have been given permission, you will not copy, modify, distribute, or sell any such information. YOU AND OTHER PROVIDERS OF INFORMATION ARE THE PUBLISHERS OF THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON BC Singles Net. BC Singles Net IS NOT A PUBLISHER OF SUCH INFORMATION. IN NO EVENT WILL BC Singles Net BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY INTERRUPTIONS OF SERVICE, VIRUSES, POWER OUTAGES, OR COMMUNICATIONS BY OTHER SERVICE USERS. BC Singles Net may choose to monitor the public areas of the service in accordance with any legal requirement, in order to maintain the service, and to protect the rights of service users. You agree, at the request of BC Singles Net, to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BC Singles Net, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and third parties, from your use of the service, including any violation of the rules contained in this Agreement or any accusation that the information that you post infringes the intellectual property rights (such as copyright, trade secret, trademark, or patent) of any third party or that such information disparages, libels or invades the privacy of any third party. BC Singles Net PROVIDES THE SERVICE ON AN "AS-IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Certain jurisdictions limit the applicability of warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability so the above disclaimers of warranty and liability may not apply to you. This Agreement is entered into in Victoria, British Columbia. You agree that the British Columbia law (regardless of conflicts of law principles) shall govern this Agreement, and that any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the federal and provincial courts in Victoria, British Columbia.
